Conquering tight spaces

This charming Coronado home is tall and narrow with very little clearance on both sides. Narrow access is always a concern on Coronado lots: you need compact scaffolding and careful planning to reach the upper walls without stepping onto the neighbors' property.

Mastering architectural detail

The house also has plenty of detail: porch railings, trim, moldings and a teal front door and gate. Every cut line and color choice had to enhance that character. The intricate trim needed hand brushing and extra time to look clean and cohesive.
